Springing out of the snow!

Well hello all!

After a long, hard, and cold Winter, its time to get moving again!

These past few months have been long and freezing, but an exciting few months for me and my crew. I have changed full time jobs now, so I am closer to home and have more free time for me and my fuzzy crew. I look forward to setting lots of class dates and meeting lots of new pups and handlers.

So put away you winter boots, get out your running… Continue

What rescued dogs really do

I Rescued a Human Today.

Her eyes met mine as she walked down the corridor peering apprehensively into the kennels. I felt her need instantly and knew I had to help her.

I wagged my tail, not too exuberantly, so she wouldn’t be afraid.

As she stopped at my kennel I blocked her view from a little accident I had in the back of my cage. I didn't want her to know that I hadn't been walked today. Sometimes the shelter keepers get too busy and I didn't want her to… Continue

Winter Fun

Hello all sorry I have been off in Mexico soaking up as much sun as possible to last me for this cold winter to come. As you all can see there is snow on the ground, this usually means one of two things will happen- either your curl up and hibernate with your pup at your feet OR your put on your hat and parka and have fun in the great outdoors!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to all of you and your fuzzy friends!

I am just posting a quick note to let you all that I will be on vacation but when I get back I will be looking at posting some more dates for classes. As I have addressed before I will be doing sporadic classes during the Winter months, unless there are group of people dedicated to doing fitness in the snow. I would be willing to do classes if any of you are interested.… Continue

Summing up the Weekend

Thanks to everyone that participated on the Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of October. It was great to meet all of you and your very talented pups. Despite the weather on Saturday it was a great turn out. We had a few little hiccups but for the most part it was a great run both days. The dogs all came from different backgrounds from rescued 1 month ago to disqualified working dogs, they all did awesome.

Thanks for the toy and donations for the Humane Society. As I have rescued 3… Continue

Glad to hear that doggy fitness is going on the run soon. Madl is anxious to meet up with all the pups she met last fall and show them how grown up she is now (18 months!).
